Città di Castello will host the national gathering of small wine producers and small wineries on Saturday and Sunday the 18th and 19th of April. “Only Wine Festival” will be an occasion for meeting the best 100 producers “under 40” selected by the Italian Sommelier Association (A.I.S.). They will be exposing their products for free and guided tasting.
If you are not so expert you may enjoy buying a ticket for 5 free tasting for the price of 10,00€. If you already know a lot about wines and you want to expand your horizon you can participate to one of the “speed wine” a quick course about tasting taught by one of the sommeliers.
This year the Balcans will be a special guest. There will be red and white wines fro Bulgarias, Rumanian nectars, the Serbian Vranec, the red Plavac Mali or other greek or turkish wines.
Our Agriturismo Il Cucciolo is offering a weekend package dedicated to the event. It includes a two nights staying with arrival dinner, breakfasts and a tasting of the local Donini Wines (Wine Festival Package for two: 240,00 €).
